A collection of elephant figurines and themed decorative objects in a diverse range of materials and styles. The assortment includes two multi-coloured resin or plastic figures featuring swirling and geometric patterns, a large ceramic or resin figure with a blue-toned bark-like textured surface, and a tan-coloured naturalistic stone or resin figure with a raised trunk. The group also features a faceted crystal style elephant with a raised trunk and a deep red wax pillar candle in the form of a seated elephant.
The collection further comprises several small cast figurines in dark grey and black materials, possibly resin or soapstone, and two ornate silver-toned metal vessels with hollowed-out backs, decorated with ceremonial blankets. A dark circular wooden stand with three elephant-form legs is included, alongside a clear glass bottle embossed with the characters J U M B O in capital letters. The lot also contains a vertical stylized elephant head in a pale stone-like material, a rounded textured grey elephant, two small gold-toned metal figures, and a ceramic cabinet plate featuring a transfer-print scene of elephants in a natural landscape.
Condition report:
The items generally appear to be in good decorative condition. The red wax candle appears unused with no signs of burning (photo 4). The silver-toned metal vessels show surface oxidation and tarnish consistent with age (photo 2). There are no visible chips, cracks, or repairs evident in the overview photographs.
