A collection of animal figurines and novelty items in various styles and materials, including glazed porcelain, stoneware, hand-painted ceramic, and moulded resin. The group features avian subjects such as a large ceramic mallard-style duck head with an orange beak, a stylised stoneware duck with a textured brown glaze, a tall slender white ceramic bird, a small bird nesting with eggs, a dark grey glazed duck, and a colourful ceramic cockerel. Canine figures include a pair of white poodles, a pair of seated brown puppies, and a seated hound. Other animal subjects comprise a large white ceramic rabbit with stitched-effect detailing, a resin rabbit seated by a pool, two blue-glazed sea lion figures, a small otter, a seated tan camel, and a pink pig with black spots. The lot also includes a novelty ceramic pig emerging from a bag and two salt and pepper shakers, one shaped as a beverage bottle with an orange graphic and another as a sailor.
Condition report:
The collection is in fair to good decorative condition across the group. The large mallard-style duck head displays surface wear and minor scuffing to the orange pigment on the beak (photo 1). The two blue-glazed sea lion figures show minor shelf wear to the bases (photo 1). Light surface grime and dust are present across the collection consistent with display (photos 1, 2, and 3). No major chips, cracks, or professional repairs are visible from the primary angles provided.
