A collection of framed artworks comprising maritime prints, botanical photographs, and an architectural drawing. The group includes a large colour print depicting the Royal Albert Bridge spanning the River Tamar, featuring a paddle steamer and figures in the foreground, housed in a wide black frame. A hand-coloured engraving is titled to the bottom margin A View of Hamoaze & Plymouth Dock, from Mount Edgcumbe. A pen and ink or lithographic architectural drawing depicts a monumental gateway, inscribed to the lower margin Royal William Yard, Stonehouse and signed C. Allen. The collection is completed by a trio of matching black-framed black and white photographs depicting ವಿವಿಧ woodland flora and rock-dwelling plants. The works are presented behind glass in a variety of black, gold-toned, and black-and-gold frames.
Condition report:
The frames show minor scuffs, surface dust, and small nicks to the edges consistent with handling (photo 1). The Plymouth Dock engraving exhibits slight overall discolouration and foxing to the paper (photo 3). The botanical photographs appear in good order within their mounts (photo 4). No significant damage to the glass or major structural losses are visible across the group.
