An El Gamo break barrel air rifle featuring a blued metal barrel and compression cylinder. The rifle is fitted with a wooden stock incorporating a finger-groove forend and a distinctively shaped buttstock. It is equipped with an adjustable rear notch sight featuring two numbered adjustment dials and a hooded front sight. The metal components show surface oxidation and pitting throughout their length. The butt plate is constructed from a black textured material and features a moulded logo consisting of a bird in flight above the text el gamo followed by a registered trademark symbol. The trigger guard appears to be manufactured from a black polymer material. No specific model designations or serial numbers are clearly legible on the external surfaces. As an air rifle, this item does not require a background check.
Condition report:
The metalwork exhibits significant surface oxidation and pitting across the barrel and receiver, with a loss of the original blued finish in several areas. The wooden stock is in fair condition, displaying various minor scratches, dings, and surface wear consistent with age and use, though it remains free of visible cracks. The black polymer trigger guard and butt plate show minor surface scuffing. The bore appears dark with some internal oxidation visible. The break-barrel action appears to function, though the firearm has not been test-fired or checked for mechanical velocity and seal integrity.
