This lot comprises two pieces of mid-to-late 20th-century teak-veneered furniture manufactured by Parker Knoll, featuring a distinctive paneled facade. The first item is a low-profile sideboard or media cabinet constructed from teak veneers over an engineered wood core, with an interior showing a secondary wood with a prominent ribbon grain. The unit features a two-door front with a false-panel aesthetic, opening via top-integrated finger pulls to reveal a central shelf. The second item is a quadrant-shaped corner storage unit with a curved front featuring two doors with the same paneled motif and a single fixed interior shelf. Both units are mounted on recessed plinth bases and feature modern adjustable metal cup hinges. The rear of the sideboard bears a blue and white rectangular adhesive label reading Parker Knoll followed by a stylized x logo. An adjacent white paper production tag is printed with TEAK UN.T and a model number 5544. The corner unit features a small white sticker to the reverse printed with INSPECTED and the handwritten letters P C.
Condition report:
The overall condition appears very good with a consistent finish. The top surfaces show light surface scratches and a faint circular heat or water mark is visible on the sideboard top (photo 9). There are minor scuffs to the plinth bases consistent with floor-level use. One door on the sideboard appears slightly misaligned (photo 7). Interior surfaces show minimal wear.
