A collection of assorted costume and fashion rings in various styles, metals, and designs. The group features a wide range of motifs, including a large cast metal skull signet ring with a bronze-tone finish, a Claddagh style ring set with a heart-shaped faceted red stone, and a gold-tone dress ring featuring a cluster of turquoise-coloured cabochons and white seed pearls. The assortment also includes an enamelled band with black and white foliate scrollwork, a silver-tone band with a Celtic knotwork pattern, and a textured gold-tone ring set with a single dark rectangular faceted stone. Several plain and decorated bands in gold-tone and silver-tone finishes are present, including one featuring a zig-zag geometric pattern. A wide band ring appears to be made from a repurposed or replica coin, with relief text to the exterior including the words UNUM and UNITED. This piece bears an internal impressed mark in capital letters reading S925 PLATED. Other rings in the lot are unmarked or have illegible internal marks, featuring stones that may be glass, paste, or synthetic.

Condition report:

The collection shows general signs of wear consistent with use and age throughout. Notable plating loss and tarnish are visible on several items, particularly to the copper-toned interior of the enamelled band (photo 1) and the underside of the turquoise-style ring (photo 3). Surface scratching and scuffing are evident on the wider metal bands (photo 1). The turquoise-style setting shows slight misalignment of the cabochons (photo 3). The stones and enamel work appear generally intact, though some clear pastes show signs of dulling.
