A Mid-Century Modern dining suite constructed in the Danish style from teak and teak-veneered wood. The lot comprises a rectangular dining table with two draw-leaf extensions and a set of six chairs, including two carvers and four side chairs. The table features a veneered top supported by solid tapered legs. The chairs are designed with curved, sculptural backrests and are upholstered in a neutral-coloured textured fabric. The carver chairs feature wrap-around armrests finished with visible wooden plugs. To the underside of one chair is a circular black adhesive label reading DANISH FURNITUREMAKERS’ CONTROL. The underside of the table bears a faint impressed rectangular mark reading Made in Denmark. This lot comprises the dining table and chairs only; all other furniture and interior items shown in the background of the images are not included.

Condition report:

The dining table exhibits significant water rings, circular staining, and surface marks to the underside (photo 15). The table top shows visible fading and colour variation between the main surface and the extension leaves (photo 14). The chairs show heavy soiling, staining, and wear to the fabric upholstery (photos 4, 5, 11). There are various scuffs, scratches, and minor losses to the finish on the wooden frames of the table and chairs consistent with use (photos 1, 4, 7).
