A Sony portable audio system finished in black, comprising a top-loading CD player, a front-loading cassette deck, and an AM/FM radio tuner. The unit features a digital LCD display and integrated stereo speakers protected by black metal grilles. The central fascia is printed with the maker’s name SONY and the designation CD RADIO CASSETTE-CORDER. A small printed label above the display reads CFD-S70. The boombox is designed for portable use with an integrated folding carry handle and a telescopic antenna to the rear. This lot includes a Sony RM-ANU159 remote control, a power cable fitted with a UK three-pin plug, and the original retail cardboard packaging printed in English and French. The boombox appears in good cosmetic condition with no significant visible damage, cracks, or missing control buttons (photo 1). The speaker grilles are free from dents or distortion. The digital LCD display and surrounding housing show no visible scratches (photo 2). The cassette deck and CD compartment doors appear to operate correctly, though the unit has not been tested for power or playback functionality. The original retail box shows some wear, including creasing and small tears at the corner edges and opening flaps (photo 1). The remote control and power cable show no visible signs of fraying or damage.
