The group features a variety of vintage delivery vans, motor cars, and utility vehicles constructed with die-cast metal bodies and plastic detailing. Visible liveries include Lipton’s Tea, Colman’s Mustard, Carlsberg, Oxo, and Chocolat Menier. Each vehicle is housed in a cardboard window display box. The Matchbox boxes are printed with the series title models of yesteryear and include models such as the Y-1 1911 Crossley, Y-3 1912 Talbot, Y-5 1927 Talbot, Y-7 1912 Rolls Royce, Y-12 1912 Ford Model T, Y-19 1935 Auburn 851, and Y-22 1930 Ford A. Condition report:
The die-cast vehicles appear to be in mint or near-mint condition, remaining within their original packaging. The cardboard window boxes exhibit varying degrees of age-related wear, including minor scuffing to the edges and corners. There is visible yellowing and light dusting to the plastic windows across the collection. One plastic window shows a small puncture or crush mark (photo 1). The boxes remain structurally sound, though some show light creasing to the card flaps (photo 2).
