An exhibition poster for the Albertina museum in Vienna, featuring a reproduction of an artwork titled Two Little Girls by Egon Schiele. The print is a lithograph or offset print on paper, depicting two children in a stylised expressionist manner with a palette dominated by deep teal, bright blue, and pale pink tones. The bottom left corner of the sheet features the printed name EGON SCHIELE in gold-tone characters, accompanied by the vertical text Albertina Wien. At the top centre, there is a printed square monogram containing the characters S and E above the date 1911. The poster is presented unframed and shows the characteristic features of Schiele’s early 20th-century figurative style. This lot comprises the poster only.
Condition report:
The poster is in fair condition with significant signs of handling and storage wear. There are prominent rolling creases and multiple large diagonal creases extending through the central body of the paper (photo 1). The edges show notable wear, including small tears, bumping, and creasing throughout the perimeter. The paper displays a light, even toning consistent with age.
