This auction ended on September 30, 2026.

Start price: £10

Estimated price: £10 - £20

Buyer's Premium: 20%

Sold for: £14

A traditional style coffee table constructed from hardwood, possibly cherry or mahogany, with a warm reddish-brown finish. The rectangular table features a framed top construction with an inset panel, supported by four turned pillar-style legs terminating in compressed bun feet. A full-width lower shelf provides additional storage above an apron divided into three sections. This lower section comprises two end drawers, each fitted with a small dark metal round pull knob, flanking a central fixed decorative panel featuring vertical reeding or fluting. The joinery appears to be of solid wood construction throughout. There are no visible maker’s marks or branding on the exterior of the piece. This lot comprises the coffee table only.

Condition report:

The table exhibits signs of significant wear consistent with domestic use. The lower shelf surface shows multiple ring marks and extensive areas of finish loss and discoloration (photo 1). Scuffs, scratches, and minor indentations are visible across the apron and legs (photo 1). Dust and debris have accumulated within the recessed decorative reeding and joinery (photo 1). A white rectangular adhesive label is present on the front right edge of the table top (photo 1). The condition of the top surface cannot be fully assessed as it is obscured by other objects.
