A Victorian style metal bedstead finished in a cream-coloured paint. The frame comprises a headboard, a matching footboard, and a set of wooden slats. The construction features tubular metal rails with decorative cast knuckles and shell-motif ornaments at the intersections. The headboard and footboard are designed with arched top rails and spherical finials. The vertical slats are finished with small decorative mouldings. The base consists of a set of light-coloured wooden slats, likely pine or laminated beech. This lot comprises the bed frame components only.
Condition report:
The frame is currently disassembled and shows minor surface dirt and light scuffing to the painted finish, consistent with storage and previous use (photo 1). The cast decorative elements appear intact and the wooden slats show no visible breaks or structural damage (photo 2). The metal components appear structurally sound with no visible bends to the main rails.
