This lot comprises a decorative fantasy dagger with a matching scabbard. The piece is constructed from cast metal with an antiqued bronze-tone finish, featuring intricate dragon motifs throughout. The hilt is fashioned in the form of a dragon, with a pommel shaped as a roaring head and a crossguard designed as outspread wings and claws. The grip is textured with a cast-metal scale pattern. The coordinating scabbard features a red resin or synthetic body with a decorative metal dragon relief wrapping spirally around the length. The scabbard tip terminates in a further dragon head motif. No manufacturer marks, signatures, or country of origin labels are visible on the exterior of the hilt or scabbard.
Condition report:
The item appears in good display condition with a consistent antiqued finish across the metal components (photo 1). The red decorative inlay on the scabbard shows no visible chips, cracks, or losses. The cast-metal dragon filigree appears intact without breaks or structural damage. Minor surface dust is visible, consistent with storage in the displayed environment.
