A contemporary machine-made area rug from the Crossley Rug Collection, featuring the Dreams pattern. The rug is constructed from 100% polypropylene Berclon exclusive fibre and is designed with a modern abstract motif. The design consists of a neutral beige or camel-coloured ground decorated with sweeping, concentric cream arcs of varying thicknesses; some arcs present a solid appearance while others feature a textured, ribbed, or hatched effect. The rug is finished with a low, uniform pile and is manufactured in the EU. A large adhesive paper label is attached to the reverse, featuring a photograph of a child and a dog, and reads Crossley RUG COLLECTION, stain resistant rugs for all the family, MADE IN THE EU, 100% POLYPROPYLENE BERCLON EXCLUSIVE FIBRE, and DREAMS. Technical codes on the label include 300 0002/79 R 160×230 L1 110928/2104183/00492 and 275025105204. The label also displays icons for stain resistance, colourfastness, mothproofing, anti-static properties, water repellency, and ease of cleaning.

Condition report:
The rug is in fair to good used condition. Several visible ripples and creases are present across the surface, consistent with being stored rolled (photo 1). A few small, darkened spots and surface marks are visible on the beige field, notably in the central and upper left sections (photo 1). The edges and binding appear intact without significant fraying or loss (photos 1, 2, and 3). The reverse label is worn with some losses to the paper surface (photo 4).
