A large collection of Portmeirion tableware crafted from glazed fine creamware. The group primarily features the Botanic Roses pattern, decorated with various species of roses including Scarborough Fair and Amber Queen, set within a signature green laurel leaf border. The lot includes a teapot with lid, an oval serving platter, dinner plates, side plates, cereal bowls, coffee mugs, teacups with matching saucers, a milk jug, a gravy boat, and salt and pepper shakers. The shakers are marked with green printed letters P and S to the tops. The base of the oval platter features a green printed backstamp within a laurel wreath cartouche reading PORTMEIRION botanic roses 2004 MADE IN BRITAIN dishwasher microwave & freezer safe.

Also included is a group of items in the Variations pattern featuring blue and green leaf motifs. This group comprises a large breakfast mug, coffee mugs, saucers in a pale green glaze, a small milk jug, and small side plates. A white rectangular inventory sticker reading R1332c is present on the face of the oval platter. The pieces are finished with a clear glaze over high-quality transfer-printed floral and botanical designs.

Condition report:

The collection appears to be in very good used condition with no visible chips, cracks, or repairs across the multiple pieces shown (photos 1-4). There is minor shelf wear and light discolouration noted to the unglazed foot rings on the underside of the larger plates and the oval platter (photo 5). The transfer-printed decorations remain vibrant and the glaze retains a high gloss.
