This lot comprises fourteen wristwatches in various styles, including cased and loose examples. The collection includes a Sekonda calendar watch featuring a white dial with Roman numeral hour markers, two sub-dials, and a moonphase aperture; the dial is marked SEKONDA and QUARTZ. It is housed in a gold-tone case with a rotating bezel and a heavily textured tan leather strap. Also included is a Rotary two-tone bracelet watch with a white dial marked ROTARY and a date aperture, featuring a gold-tone beaded bezel. A contemporary ISIS style bangle watch is present, featuring a rectangular silvered dial marked ISIS on a broad hammered-finish cuff. The assortment includes a plastic Swatch style watch with a transparent skeletonised centre marked POP SWATCH on a multi-coloured patterned fabric strap. Other items include a military style watch on a khaki canvas strap, a Casio quartz watch with a white dial marked CASIO on a red and black strap, and a United Colors of Benetton watch with a black dial marked BENETTON. The collection further comprises watches marked KROSS, ICON, and LORUS, alongside various fashion watches with purple and red dials.
Condition report:
The collection shows general signs of wear consistent with use. The tan leather strap on the Sekonda moonphase watch (photo 4) shows significant cracking and surface deterioration. The Integrated two-tone bracelet on the Rotary watch (photo 5) appears in fair condition with minor surface scratches. Several loose watches show visible scratches to the crystals and wear to the cases (photo 2). The fabric straps on the Swatch and military style watches appear faded and worn (photo 1). The movements are quartz and are currently untested; working order is not guaranteed.
