A set of six pieces comprising a mid-century modern teak extending dining table and five matching dining chairs. The table is constructed with teak veneers and features a rectangular top with rounded edges, supported by a trestle-style base with two flat pedestal uprights and a central stretcher terminating in flared feet. A butterfly folding leaf mechanism is stored beneath the central section of the tabletop. The four chairs are built with teak frames featuring tapered front legs and back supports that hold floating-style backrests. The seats and backrests are upholstered in a light beige velvet or velour fabric. The underside of one chair frame bears a black rectangular adhesive label reading Vanson. The table underside features wooden slide mechanisms and handwritten markings including S 2 and W 2.

Condition report:

The table surface shows significant finish loss and sun-bleaching to the two main leaves (photo 7 and 8). The central extension leaf retains a darker original finish but exhibits several dark liquid stains and spots to the centre (photo 8). There is a light, dry appearance to the wood across the main top sections. The chair frames show minor scuffs and age-related wear to the timber (photo 5). The upholstery is generally intact but shows signs of light soiling and pile wear consistent with use (photo 3). The mechanical butterfly leaf appears functional.
