This lot comprises three vintage table lamps in varying decorative styles. The first is a large ceramic urn-form table lamp featuring a cream-coloured crackle-glaze finish. It is constructed with a distressed gilt-effect metal neck and base, fitted with a wire frame for a clip-on shade. A white adhesive label on the socket reads LAMP SHAPE 60W MAX. The second item is an Art Deco style figural lamp, depicting a stylized female figure in a dynamic pose with a silver-toned finish. The figure is mounted on a black stepped oval base with a curved black metal support arm and a white plastic socket featuring an integrated rocker switch. The third lamp is a Victorian style brass oil lamp conversion, featuring a central stem and font with decorative winder knobs. It is topped with an opaque white glass shade with a ruffled rim, relief-moulded scrollwork, and circular medallions containing polychrome floral transfers in pink and yellow tones. Two lamps are fitted with gold-coloured cords and one with a black cord, all featuring standard UK three-pin plugs.
Condition report:
The ceramic urn lamp shows significant wear and oxidation to the gilt finish on the metal components (photo 1). The ceramic body has an intentional crackle-glaze finish; no unintended hairlines are visible in the photographs. The Art Deco style lamp appears in good structural condition with minor scuffs to the black painted metal support (photo 4). The brass conversion lamp exhibits heavy tarnish and a dark patina throughout the metal base and font (photo 3). The glass shade appears intact with no visible chips or cracks to the ruffled rim in the provided images. All items are sold as decorative objects and require testing by a qualified electrician before use.
