Sold for: £42

A collection of cut crystal and decorative glassware comprising a rectangular spirits decanter with a faceted ball stopper, a ships style decanter with a tapering neck, and an assortment of tumblers featuring a deep diamond-cut pattern with starburst and fan motifs. The lot includes a clear glass hurricane style candle holder with a silver-toned metal base, a clear glass vase decorated with an etched wheat leaf pattern, and a group of small hand-blown glass items including a blue bud vase, a green miniature pitcher, and small green vases. Also included are two clear glass animal figurines, one in the form of a snail and one resembling a bird. The collection features a tall, slender Art Nouveau style ceramic vase with a deep teal glaze, encased in a dark patinated metal openwork frame with organic whiplash curves. The rectangular decanter is mounted on a wooden stand with a brass-toned plaque, though the text is not legible. A small gold-toned foil label is present on the base of one tumbler with indistinct characters.

Condition report:

The Art Nouveau style vase has a significant chip to the ceramic body on the central column, revealing the lighter clay beneath the teal glaze (photo 5). The metal frame of this vase shows age-related patination and dust (photo 4). The crystal and glassware generally appear clear without visible cloudiness (photo 1). No other chips or cracks are visible in the provided images, although minor flea bites common to cut glass may be present.
