A trio of mixed furniture items comprising a nineteenth-century style chest of drawers, a mid-century modern style nest of three tables, and an empty maritime style storage chest. The chest of drawers is constructed with flame mahogany veneers to the drawer fronts and a solid wood top, featuring four long drawers with turned wooden knobs and hand-cut dovetail joinery. The nest of three tables is made from a dark-stained wood, possibly teak, with rectangular tops featuring raised trough edges on minimalist frames. The storage chest is a rustic pine or camphor wood maritime style trunk, featuring heavy black-painted iron corner bracing and side carrying handles. The lid is fitted with a recessed brass campaign style handle, which is secured with four cross-head screws. The interior of the storage chest is finished in a vibrant green paint. A white adhesive label reading K12995 is present on the chest of drawers and the lid of the storage chest.

Condition report:

The chest of drawers shows surface scratches and small losses to the mahogany veneers on the front edges and drawer surrounds (photo 2). The nest of tables exhibits significant finish wear, including scuffs, scratches, and chips to the dark stain, particularly on the edges and legs (photo 10). The storage chest displays various surface indentations, scratches, and chips to the timber, consistent with age and use (photo 12). The green interior paint of the chest shows some wear and marking (photo 19). The brass campaign handle is tarnished but remains functional (photo 17).
