A Mountfield self-propelled walk-behind petrol lawnmower. The unit is constructed with a black metal deck and features a red plastic engine shroud and a matching red plastic grass collector box. The engine shroud bears a circular adhesive label reading Mountfield RV40 150cc. A partially obscured rectangular adhesive label on the front edge of the deck reads Self Propelled SP414 46cm Cut. The front of the deck also features a rectangular frame containing the Mountfield name. The machine is equipped with a handle-mounted throttle control lever, safety bars, and a pull-start mechanism. A metal muffler guard with visible surface oxidation is situated at the side of the engine. Two yellow adhesive warning labels are present on the deck, one bearing a circular 2 Year Warranty graphic and the other providing operational instructions regarding tilting the machine.
Condition report:
The lawnmower is in used condition with significant accumulations of dried grass and surface dirt across the deck and grass collector (photo 1). Surface rust and oxidation are visible on the metal muffler guard and various fasteners (photo 2 and 5). The plastic components, including the engine shroud and collector, show surface scuffing and ingrained dirt (photo 3). The label on the front of the deck is partially torn and worn (photo 5). The spark plug lead is connected, and all primary controls appear present, though mechanical functionality has not been tested.
