Sold for: £3
A folding portable field cot, also known as a camp bed, constructed with a square-profile aluminium or lightweight alloy frame reinforced with steel plates and rivets at the joints. The sleeping surface is made of olive green synthetic fabric. The bed is housed within a matching olive-drab synthetic fabric carry bag featuring olive green webbing straps, a plastic handle, and a full-length zip closure. The interior of the bag includes a central webbing strap to secure the folded frame. A white rectangular paper tag is attached to one of the external straps, though it bears no legible text. No manufacturer branding, maker’s marks, or labels are visible on the bed or the carry case.
Condition report:
The exterior carry bag shows significant signs of age and use, including overall fading to the fabric, scattered staining, and light soiling (photo 1). The internal frame exhibits minor surface oxidation and light scratching to the metal components consistent with field use (photo 2). The green fabric of the bed appears intact within the bag.
