A collection of fashion and costume jewellery comprising multiple necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and trinkets. The assortment includes a heavy white metal toggle-link necklace with textured cylindrical stations, a multi-strand yellow metal chain necklace, and several beaded pieces featuring turquoise-coloured, purple, and green stones. A group of yellow metal clip-on and stud earrings is presented in a grey box, including examples with black cabochon inlays and ribbed designs. Notable items include a circular white-metal-cased pendant with a swirling black and white enameled pattern, a broad industrial-style silver-tone cuff, and a multi-ring chain bracelet. A pair of earrings with blue and silver-tone elements is housed in a red box, featuring an interior lid label with printed text reading HAND MADE ENAMEL ON COPPER BY P. G. COLLINS 1 GRANDEN ROAD LONDON W.12 9SA. The lot also contains a Pandora style charm bracelet and a small white thimble component in a clear plastic case.
Condition report:
The collection shows varied conditions across the group. Several fine-link chains exhibit tangling and knots (photo 1). Surface oxidation and tarnishing are visible on the base metal components, particularly the yellow metal earrings and multi-strand necklace (photo 3). The enamel on the P.G. Collins earrings and the circular pendant appears intact without visible chips. Some surface scratching is present on the industrial-style cuff and toggle necklace.
