This assortment consists of eight brooches, hair clip and one five-pronged hair comb, predominantly contemporary and vintage-style costume pieces. A curved foliate spray brooch in yellow gold-tone metal is set with amber and clear faceted crystals and is housed in a red velvet-lined Boots brand box with a Crystal Elegance certificate. A rose gold-tone hair comb features a floral and leaf spray motif embellished with teal-blue and iridescent Aurora Borealis crystals. The collection also includes an ornate Victorian-style oval brooch with an antiqued gold-tone openwork frame, featuring a large central faux pearl surrounded by a double halo of smaller faux pearls and clear rhinestones. A portrait cameo brooch in blue is set in a gold-tone frame with blue rhinestones and a teardrop drop. Also present is a gold-tone butterfly brooch with pavé-set clear rhinestones, a silver-tone starburst brooch with blue and clear crystals, a gold-tone rose brooch with green enamel leaves, and a bi-colour floral basket brooch featuring a bird detail. The collection is in generally good to excellent condition. All decorative stones, faux pearls, and enamel elements appear to be intact and present. The metal finishes show minimal surface wear and minor oxidation consistent with age and use. The presentation box for the foliate brooch remains in good condition with light external shelf wear.
