Buyer's Premium:

A collection of silver and silver-toned items featuring an English bread fork with a natural antler handle and sterling silver mounts. The terminal of the fork displays an Ionic-style scroll design, while the ferrule bears British hallmarks including the maker mark H G, a lion passant, and a date letter in a shield. The lot includes a sterling silver condiment spoon in the fiddle pattern, struck with London hallmarks for the maker J S, a leopard head, a lion passant, and a lowercase date letter a. Also included is a shoehorn with an ornate sterling silver handle decorated with repoussé scroll and foliate motifs; it bears partially worn British hallmarks and a maker mark ending in & Co. The collection is completed by a single strand of graduated cream-coloured pearls, likely cultured or imitation, with a decorative oval clasp set with green and colourless paste stones, stamped SILVER on the reverse.

Condition report:

The pieces exhibit signs of age and use consistent with their vintage. There is noticeable surface tarnishing and oxidisation to the silver elements. Minor surface scratches and abrasions are present across the metal components. The pearl necklace displays light wear to the beads and the stringing shows signs of age.
