This collection includes a Victorian pewter teapot of compressed globular form featuring a dark-stained wood scroll handle and a simple spout. The base is stamped with a crown over VR, Webster & Johnson’s, and the numbers 5 0 2 2, with the body bearing an engraved script monogram. Included is an Edwardian silver-plated presentation jug with a fluted lower body and hinged lid, inscribed to a Mr Thomas from the Raines Parade Wesleyan Sunday School, Blackpool, dated May 18, 1908; the base is marked EP, W Bros, and 494. The lot also contains a silver-plated swing-handle basket with pierced geometric borders and a central fruit repoussé medallion, alongside a various assortment of silver-plated flatware including spoons and forks. A pair of metal fighting cock figurines is present, displaying detailed cast feathers. The group is completed by a mid-century vanity set comprising a small electric lamp, a footed rectangular jewellery box, a hand mirror, brushes, and a dish. These pieces are decorated with oval porcelain-style plaques featuring pink roses set against a cream textured ground with gold-toned filigree borders.

Condition report:

Items exhibit varying degrees of surface tarnish and wear consistent with age. The pewter teapot has surface scratches and wear to the stained finish of the handle. The silver-plated jug and basket show minor loss of plating on raised edges. The vanity set displays some yellowing or discolouration to the fabric-textured ground, particularly on the hand mirror. The lamp wiring appears original and is untested. Flatware is heavily tarnished.
