A collection of die-cast metal model vehicles with plastic components, primarily consisting of items from the Matchbox Models of Yesteryear and Lledo Days Gone series. The collection features several Matchbox Models of Yesteryear in original cream and gold window boxes, including a 1928 Bugatti T44, a Y-10 Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost, a Y-12 1922 Ford T, and a Y-1 model in green. Also included is a Lledo Days Gone three-vehicle set featuring red commercial vehicles with liveries for Your Local Milkman, Unigate, and Fresh Milk. A further Lledo commemorative model is present in a purple-bordered box, produced to mark the 90th birthday of HM Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother in 1990. One loose blue and red steam traction engine is included. The boxes are marked as Made in England and feature the respective manufacturer branding for Matchbox and Lledo (London) Limited.
Condition report:
The models appear to be in good, complete condition suitable for display. The majority are contained within their original window boxes, which exhibit varying degrees of age-related shelf wear, including minor creasing, scuffing, and dust. One Matchbox box window has a white adhesive sticker with the handwritten reference J8535. The steam traction engine is loose and lacks its original packaging.
