Ercol Windsor model 268 wall-mounted plate rack. This mid-century modern storage unit features two tiers of solid wood shelving, each designed with a recessed groove to secure display plates. The horizontal shelves are constructed from solid elm, set into tapering side supports crafted from beech. The piece retains its original identification markings. A circular gold-toned label on one horizontal member is inscribed with High Wycombe Buckinghamshire around the top edge, Ercol within a central cartouche, and Made in England along the bottom edge. Additionally, the rack retains an original green and white paper hang-tag featuring the company tree logo and the text Finished by hand. Started by nature.
