An assortment of decorative figurines comprising four African-themed pieces and two Japanese Kokeshi-style dolls. The four African-inspired figures are crafted from cast resin with hand-painted polychrome decoration, resembling the Soul Journeys and Seymour Mann Maasai series. This group includes two tall female figures: one wearing a blue shawl and red garment while carrying an infant and a lamb, and another in a green shawl and yellow patterned dress accompanied by a child. Completing the African-themed group are two smaller figures, one seated and one kneeling, both featuring detailed painted beadwork necklaces and traditional dress. The collection also includes two modern Kokeshi-style dolls with round heads and cylindrical bodies, appearing to be made from painted wood or a similar composite material. One doll is decorated in red and black, while the other features a blue floral pattern with a pink flower detail in the hair. A small, illegible white adhesive label is present on the base of the taller figure on the left.
Condition report:
The collection appears to be in good overall condition. No significant chips, cracks, or repairs are visible across the items. Some light surface dust is present, consistent with previous display.
