This lot comprises an assortment of vintage and contemporary consumer audio-visual equipment. The primary item is a JVC CX-500ME portable multi-function unit, manufactured by the Victor Company of Japan, Limited. This solid-state device combines a colour television, AM/FM/MW/SW radio, and a cassette tape recorder. The unit features a black plastic housing with a brushed metallic-effect front control panel, an analog slide rule tuning dial, and is marked for PAL/SECAM and CCIR-OIRT-UK regions. It is accompanied by its original cardboard shipping box.
Also included is a stack of three electronic components:
1. A turntable with integrated AM/FM radio, model 78750, featuring a wood-effect MDF cabinet and a clear acrylic dust cover. It has a circular analog tuning dial with an orange backlight.
2. An LG CD/DVD receiver, model DA-3520 (front) and DA-3520AD (rear). The unit is housed in a silver-finished plastic and metal cabinet and includes an integrated amplifier and tuner.
3. A Daewoo Electronics DVD recorder and VCR combination unit, model DF-8150P. This unit features a silver and black housing and is labelled as being made in the UK.
All units are fitted with standard UK three-pin power plugs where visible.
Condition report:
All items are in used condition and show varying degrees of surface wear. The JVC CX-500ME unit exhibits significant dust accumulation and visible pitting and corrosion to the metallic-effect front panel. The original box shows signs of wear and handling consistent with age. The other electronic units show standard surface scratches and dust from storage. All items are sold as seen; none of the equipment has been tested for electrical safety or functionality.
