Two vintage tabletop bagatelle games of varying construction. The first example is a wooden board with a curved top, featuring a field of metal pins and sixteen scoring holes. These holes are identified by small, oval brass plaques with numeric values ranging from 5 to 150. The second example is a green-painted metal board, likely tinplate, also with a curved top and metal pins. This board features hand-painted red scoring values ranging from 10 to 250. Included with the boards are six dark-coloured composite or metal balls and a small wooden rod. No manufacturer marks or labels are visible on either board; however, they are in the style of mid-20th-century parlour games produced by companies such as Corinthian.
Condition report:
Both boards exhibit significant signs of age and play wear. The wooden board has surface scratches, minor indentations, and oxidation to the metal pins and brass plaques. The green metal board shows substantial paint loss, scratching, and areas of surface rust, particularly around the pins and edges. The accessories show signs of use. Both items are offered in an as found state and are untested for full mechanical playability.
