The silvered dial is set behind glass within a brass bezel and features weather indications for Stormy, Rain, Change, Fair, and Very Dry in black and red decorative fonts. The main scale is graduated from 28 to 31 inches of mercury. It is fitted with a black steel indicating hand and a secondary brass setting hand adjusted via a knurled knob on the glass. A curved spirit thermometer is integrated into the lower section of the dial with a Fahrenheit scale ranging from 10 to 140. The dial is marked with the maker name Negretti & Zambra London and serial number 15488.

Condition report:

The barometer shows an aged patina throughout. Significant dust is present within the carved details and around the bezel. The dial has areas of minor surface oxidation and toning. A small hole is visible in the back for mechanism adjustment. The functionality of the barometer and thermometer is untested.
