Edward Souter Barnsley and Sons sterling silver two-handled sugar bowl. This George V period vessel is of compressed globular form with a flared rim and stands on a short circular pedestal foot with a stepped base. It features two cast scroll handles with integrated thumb rests. The exterior displays a full set of British hallmarks including the maker mark E.S over SONS, the Birmingham anchor assay mark, the lion passant for sterling silver, and the date letter n for 1912.

Condition report:
The item shows heavy tarnish and oxidation across all surfaces. Numerous fine scratches and minor pitting are visible, alongside a small shallow dent to the lower section of the bulbous body. The handles and base remain structurally sound. Requires professional cleaning and polishing to restore the finish.
