A collection of vintage costume jewellery, religious medals, and decorative objects primarily dating from the mid-20th century. The group includes a silver-toned relief medal depicting the Road to Emmaus, featuring the inscription VIVVM SINVS, presented in a clear plastic box with a red velvet lining. A small Portuguese devotional tag is present, bearing the text CORAÇÃO DE JESUS and P.R. 61395. The jewellery selection features several brooches: a gold-toned branch with white enamel leaves and faux pearls, a large oval faceted amethyst-coloured glass brooch within an ornate filigree border, a circular darkened metal brooch set with large clear glass paste stones, a crescent-form filigree brooch with a central red cabochon and enamel detailing, a rhinestone snowflake brooch, and a patterned enamel butterfly brooch. Other items include a small filigree crown accented with aurora borealis rhinestones, a rosary with turned wooden beads, a green velvet-covered box, and various glass bead necklaces and metal chains. Materials comprise base metals, faceted glass, rhinestones, enamel, and wood.
Condition report:
Items show signs of wear consistent with age and use. There is visible tarnish and surface oxidation on metal components, most notably on the filigree crown and rosary chain. Surface scratches and minor foiling degradation are present on some glass stones. The enamel on the butterfly brooch shows small chips. Several necklaces and the rosary are tangled. The presentation box for the medal has surface scuffing.
