Condition report:
The banknotes are in circulated condition; the Peppiatt note shows heavy wear, including deep horizontal and vertical centre folds, edge fraying, and surface soiling. The Somerset note exhibits light handling creases. The 1977 and 1981 crowns show visible surface toning and red oxidation spotting. The 1940 sixpence displays moderate circulation wear to the high points of the design. The Westminster bar and 50p coin remain protected in plastic sleeves, which show light scuffing.
