A collection of three officially licensed drinking glasses featuring artwork from the animated television series The Simpsons. The lot consists of two footed pilsner-style glasses and one conical tumbler. One pilsner glass depicts Homer Simpson with a thought bubble showing a can of Duff Beer and the caption MMM… BEER!. It is marked MATT GROENING and TM & © 99 FOX. The second pilsner glass features Homer Simpson with a can of Duff Beer and a speech bubble reading BEER, NOW THERE’S A TEMPORARY SOLUTION. This glass is also marked MATT GROENING and TM & © 99 FOX. The conical tumbler displays a diagram of Homer Simpson’s brain with individual sections labelled SLEEP, DONUTS, SWEET, SWEET BEER, SEX, TV TIME, and FAMILY TIME. This piece is marked TM & © 2000 FOX and MATT GROENING. All three items are constructed from clear glass with transfer-printed graphics.
Condition report:
The items are in used condition and exhibit significant overall cloudiness and surface etching, primarily around the rims and bases, likely resulting from exposure to hard water or dishwasher cycles. The printed graphics remain largely intact and vibrant, showing only minor surface scuffing consistent with age and domestic use. There are no observable chips, cracks, or repairs.
