An assortment of wicker and coiled reed household storage baskets and a planter. The group includes a large rectangular storage basket crafted from dark grey-brown stained willow with a tight horizontal weave and two twisted wicker handles integrated into the rim. Also present is a medium rectangular basket in natural light brown willow featuring integrated side handles and a removable burlap liner, and a smaller rectangular willow basket fitted with a white fabric liner and two overhead brown handles secured with decorative cross-stitching. The collection is further comprised of a shallow rectangular tray-style basket in natural willow and a tall, tapered cylindrical planter constructed from coiled reed with a reddish-brown stained finish. This lot comprises the baskets and planter only; the glassware, furniture, and signage shown in the background of the images are not included.
Condition report:
The items are in good used condition. The coiled reed planter shows a small surface chip and dent near the top rim, alongside minor scuffs to the stained finish (photo 2). The wicker baskets exhibit typical light wear, including occasional small frays to the willow ends (photos 1, 3, and 4). The fabric liners show light signs of use but are free from significant staining or tearing.
