A collection of costume jewellery and curiosities. The assortment features a diverse range of religious pendants, including multiple crucifixes and crosses in various styles such as mother-of-pearl, Celtic, and openwork designs. Two circular medals are included: a silver-toned example inscribed ‘REGINA ADVOCATA MATER’ and a bronze-toned St Christopher medal inscribed ‘REGARDE ST CHRISTOPHE ET PUIS VA-TEN RASSURE’. The lot also contains various rings, charms including a horseshoe and a peace sign, a brass-framed botanical specimen, and a locket containing a vintage photograph. Materials appear to include base metal, silver-plate, abalone, and composite stones.


Condition report:

General signs of wear and tarnish are visible across the collection (photo 1). Surface scratches are present on the glass elements, specifically the botanical frame and the circular photo locket (photo 3). Several items exhibit surface oxidation and finish loss consistent with handled storage and age.
