A collection of vintage onyx and alabaster style table lighters including examples by Colibri. This assortment features bases fashioned from natural stone in various shades of green, white, pink, and beige. The stone components are carved into diverse geometric and organic forms, including spheres, cubes, discs, and truncated wedges. Each piece is fitted with a metal lighter mechanism in either a gold-tone or chrome-tone finish, featuring lift-arm and automatic push-button ignition styles. One circular gold-tone base bears an engraved mark reading Colibri. The undersides generally feature protective felt pads, some of which exhibit wear or are partially removed.
Condition report:
The metal mechanisms show visible signs of age including surface oxidation and pitting across the collection (photos 1, 2, and 3). Minor scuffing and small chips are present on the edges of several stone bases, most notably on the green spherical lighter and the rectangular pale green lighter (photos 1 and 3). The protective felt pads on the undersides show various stages of wear, with one metal base exhibiting substantial surface residue and scratching (photo 4). All items are offered in an untested condition.
