A set of four 2017 Platinum Wedding Anniversary Jubilee Mint gold-plated copper £5 coins in a presentation case. The collection comprises four commemorative coins issued by Alderney and Tristan da Cunha, each struck in 24-carat gold-plated copper with a proof-like finish. The obverse of each piece features the Jody Clark effigy of Queen Elizabeth II with the legends ‘ELIZABETH II DEI GRA REGINA’, while the reverses display double portraits of the couple, the ‘EP’ monogram surrounded by floral emblems, and a depiction of Westminster Abbey, all marked with the dates ‘1947-2017’ and the ‘FIVE POUNDS’ denomination. The coins are housed in protective clear plastic capsules within a black Jubilee Mint presentation case featuring a cream fabric lining and a gold-tone crown logo. The set is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity signed by ‘Michael J. Byrne’ detailing an edition limit of 2,017. The coins appear in uncirculated proof-like condition, held within protective clear plastic capsules (photos 1 and 2). The black presentation case shows minimal exterior wear and the interior fabric remains clean (photo 1). The included Certificate of Authenticity has a slight crease along the lower edge (photo 3).
