A large monochrome Marilyn Monroe print on canvas, depicting the actress in the iconic white dress scene from the 1955 film The Seven Year Itch. The image features Monroe standing over a subway grate with her skirt blown upwards by the wind. The background of the photographic scene includes a shop window with printed lettering reading 590 Fleurette Jewelry. The print is presented on a stretched canvas support. A small white rectangular adhesive label is positioned at the bottom right corner, printed with the text PIZUAR in black capital letters. No other manufacturer markings, artist signatures, or backstamps are visible on the item.
Condition report:
The canvas shows visible surface wear and multiple white scuff marks along the bottom edge (photo 1). There is minor rubbing and wear to the corners and vertical edges of the canvas. A light layer of surface dust is present.
