Sold for: £75
A full eternity ring featuring a continuous row of approximately twenty stones in claw settings. The stones are arranged in an alternating pattern, comprising ten round faceted colourless stones, which may be diamonds or cubic zirconia, and ten round faceted green stones, which may be emeralds, green spinel, or glass. The band is constructed from yellow metal and features a decorative engraved or faceted pattern to the exterior sides. Weighing 1.70 grams, the ring lacks any visible hallmarks or maker’s marks to the interior or exterior of the band. The design is characteristic of mid-20th century eternity jewellery, though the absence of marks means the gold purity remains unconfirmed.
Condition report:
The ring is in good used condition with minor surface scratches and abrasions to the metal consistent with light wear. The stones appear to be securely held within their prongs. No significant chips or cracks were observed on the gemstone facets under 1:1 photography, though a full gemological assessment and loupe inspection would be required to confirm internal clarity and stone identity. The ring cannot be easily resized due to the continuous stone setting.
