A trio of optical instruments comprising a 35mm compact camera, a pair of field binoculars, and a pair of theatre glasses. The lot includes a black plastic Praktica camera with a motorized zoom lens, featuring a top-mounted LCD display and integrated flash. The front of the camera body is marked in red and white lettering PRAKTICA super zoom 1200AF, and the lens bezel is marked PRAKTICAR ZOOM LENS f=38-120mm MACRO. It is accompanied by a black soft-shell case printed with the PRAKTICA name and a woven neck strap.

The lot also includes a pair of Palomar field binoculars with a textured black grip and metal body. The left ocular housing bears the maker’s name Palomar in stylized script above the words FULLY COATED. The right housing is marked 8 X 40 and FIELD OF VIEW AT 1000 M. These are housed in a black hard-shell case with a neck strap. Completing the trio is a pair of brass-framed theatre glasses featuring iridescent shell inlays on the barrels and eyepieces, stored in a fitted brown leather case with a magenta velvet interior. No maker’s marks are visible on the theatre glasses.

Condition report:

The Praktica camera appears in good cosmetic condition with minor dust in the crevices and light surface wear (photo 1). The lens element shows no significant scratches, though the motorized zoom and electronic functions are untested. The Palomar binoculars show minor brassing to the metal edges and some dust to the lenses, which otherwise appear clear (photo 2). The theatre glasses show a heavy dark patina and tarnish across the brass frame (photo 1). The accompanying leather case for the theatre glasses is in poor condition with significant scuffing, loss of the exterior finish, and wear to the edges (photo 1).
