Start price: £5

Estimated price: £8 - £16

A collection of decorative art glass and crystal tableware and ornaments in various styles and colours. The group features a large four-arm candelabrum with a central tier, constructed from clear glass with faceted stems, pressed glass drip pans, and suspended prism lustres. Included is a vibrant amberina style art glass bowl with a highly ruffled rim and orange-yellow centre, and a multi-lobed cobalt blue glass vase with an undulating flared rim. The assortment also comprises a tall cranberry red glass vase with a spiral optic twist design, a large clear glass vase featuring deep diamond-cut cross-hatch patterning, and a small heart-shaped glass dish.

The collection further includes several scent bottles and decanters: one clear glass bottle with a faceted stopper bears a small green shield-shaped adhesive label with a gold-coloured crest, though the text is not legible; another frosted glass bottle features a butterfly-shaped stopper. Completing the lot is a clear cut-glass scent bottle with a pointed stopper, a miniature faceted bottle with a silver-toned metal cap, an internal spatter-design glass paperweight, a cranberry red glass pear-shaped ornament, a rectangular glass trinket tray with a starburst base, and a clear glass block with an internal etched design.

Condition report:

The glassware is in generally good condition. The large candelabrum has several missing glass lustres, visible as empty hanging loops (photo 1). Minor surface scratches consistent with age and handling are visible on the bases of the heavier pieces, such as the large clear vase and the red glass bowl (photo 3). No significant chips, cracks, or repairs are visible to the main bodies of the items.
