A trio of three nesting side tables in the Mid Century Modern style, constructed from teak and teak veneers. The set features sculptural U-shaped sled frames with tapered legs and curved stretchers, typical of the Fresco range. The rectangular tops are finished with teak veneers and are bordered by solid wood lipped edges on the two shorter sides. The underside of the largest table retains a red and white square adhesive foil label featuring a white G and the word PLAN in red lettering. The joinery is of a solid construction, and the wood grain shows a consistent warm tone across all three pieces.
Condition report:
The tables are in good vintage condition with a consistent colour and sheen (photo 1). There are some minor surface scratches and faint marks to the tops, consistent with domestic use (photos 4, 5, and 6). The frames appear sound with no visible evidence of structural repair or significant damage to the timber (photo 2 and 3).
