A collection of yellow metal and silver-toned jewellery housed in a black faux-leather presentation case with a cream-coloured interior and integrated mirror. The assortment includes a yellow metal Figaro link necklace, a yellow metal curb link bracelet, and a multi-strand yellow metal articulated bracelet. The lot also contains a graduated strand of white cultured or imitation pearls fitted with a silver-toned filigree clasp, several delicate yellow metal chains, and a strand of faceted deep red beads, possibly garnets or glass. Individual items include a silver-toned heart-shaped ring set with a blue-green iridescent material, possibly abalone or paua shell, and a matching teardrop-shaped pendant. The jewelry box features a top tray with ring rolls and small compartments, and a deeper lower section. The exterior is finished in a black split-grain or faux-leather texture with a gold-toned locking clasp. No hallmarks or maker’s marks are legible on the individual pieces or the presentation case.
Condition report:
The collection shows signs of wear consistent with use. Several silver-toned items, including the heart-shaped ring and pendant, exhibit surface tarnishing (photo 1). Minor surface scratches are visible on the polished yellow metal links of the Figaro necklace and bracelets (photo 3). The interior of the jewelry box shows light indentation marks to the cream lining from stored items (photo 2). The imitation or cultured pearls appear intact, though the stringing exhibits slight stretching (photo 3). All clasps and articulated links appear to be in functional order.
