A collection of thirteen diecast scale model vehicles from the Matchbox Models of Yesteryear series. Each vehicle is constructed from diecast metal with plastic components, including wheels, canopies, and interior detailing. The lot includes various commercial and passenger vehicle models such as the 1912 Ford Model T, 1927 Talbot, 1930 Ford Model A, 1937 Mercedes-Benz 540K, and 1922 AEC S-Type Bus. The vehicles feature diverse advertising liveries for brands including Coca-Cola, Guinness, Harrods, Schweppes, Nestlé’s Milk, BP, Suze, A&J Box, Express Dairy, and Cerebos Table Salt. Each model is housed within its original cardboard and plastic window presentation box, primarily featuring the characteristic wood-grain style finish. One example is presented in a white and silver 25th-anniversary edition box. The Harrods edition is distinguished by a green-bordered presentation box. The boxes are clearly marked with the series title models of yesteryear and individual model designations including Y-3, Y-5, Y-12, Y-20, Y-21, Y-22, and Y-23. The manufacturer name Matchbox is printed on the front and side panels of the packaging.

Condition report:

The diecast vehicles appear to be in excellent, near-mint condition with bright paintwork and intact decals, showing no visible signs of play wear through the window displays (photos 1-3). The original presentation boxes show varying degrees of light shelf wear. Minor corner scuffing and slight indentations or yellowing are visible on some plastic windows. The Coca-Cola branded box (bottom row, far right, photo 1) shows a visible crease on the top cardboard flap. The Harrods box (middle row, far right, photo 1) and the 25th-anniversary box (top row, second from left, photo 1) appear well-preserved with only minor edge wear.
