A contemporary rectangular wall mirror designed in a mirror-on-mirror style. The mirror consists of a large central rectangular plate bordered by four mitred mirrored glass panels to create a framed effect. The entire assembly is mounted onto a light-grey painted MDF or wooden backing board. The reverse of the mirror is fitted with a blue braided hanging wire attached to two metal D-ring brackets, with a third D-ring bracket positioned at the top centre. A rectangular white adhesive label is affixed to the centre of the reverse bearing a red WARNING header followed by black text and a barcode; the fine print is not legible. A second, smaller white adhesive label is present in the lower-left corner of the backing board, bearing an illegible barcode and numerical sequence. This lot comprises the mirror only; the chest of drawers, office chair, books, and other background items shown in the images are not included.
Condition report:
The mirror glass plates appear to be in good functional condition without visible foxing or silvering loss (photo 1). Residual white adhesive or plaster-like material is present on the reverse at the top-centre and bottom-centre edges (photo 3). Minor scuffing and small areas of paint loss are visible to the edges of the grey-painted backing board (photo 3). Surface smudging and dust are present, consistent with storage.
