A Paula Rago ‘Love’ a contemporary British style figurative study a print depicting a reclining figure. The composition features a subject lying on a deep red or maroon surface, wearing a dark patterned garment decorated with small, multi-coloured geometric motifs. The figure is rendered with expressive facial features and hands clasped near the chest, with legs bent at the knees and bare feet visible. The work is presented behind glass with a wide white window mount and is housed in a thin silver-toned metallic or painted wood frame. No signatures, dates, or manufacturer marks are visible on the work or the frame.
Condition report:
The artwork and frame appear in stable condition. There is a reflection on the glass surface (photo 1) and some minor dust or debris is visible behind the glass within the frame. No visible tears, foxing, or damage to the paper support are observable.
