A collection of maritime artworks comprising three monochrome lithographs and two watercolor paintings. The lithographs depict historic British naval vessels in active sea conditions. One print is inscribed to the lower margin H. M. S. WATERWITCH, 10 GUNS. A second print is inscribed H. M. BRIG FROLIC, 16 GUNS, with additional text reading SLAVER ON SHORE, COAST OF BRAZIL. The third and largest lithograph depicts a ship of the line near a coastline with figures standing on rocks in the foreground. The two watercolor paintings on paper depict gaff-rigged sailing boats in coastal waters, rendered in muted tones. Both watercolors bear a monogram to the lower right corner consisting of the letters G and H intertwined in a dark pigment; the monogram is not legible as a full name. The artworks are presented in various frames, including simple black moldings, a dark wood frame with a gold-toned inner lip and blue matting, and a gilt bamboo style frame with blue matting.

Condition report:

The paper supports for the lithographs show visible age-related discoloration and foxing, most notably around the margins and edges (photos 1, 3, and 6). There is a prominent vertical reflection visible on the glass of several frames (photos 3 and 6) which is a photographic artifact and not a defect of the works. The watercolor paintings appear to be in stable condition with no significant fading visible (photos 2 and 4). The frames show minor surface wear and occasional small scuffs to the edges consistent with handling.
